– Creating the driving mid bass whilst understanding retrig.
– Tweaking the basses to fit perfectly with each other.
– Applying EQ, FX & Sidechain (Background effects in the audio sample are not created in this video).
– Using FX to create atmosphere.
– Layering the bass layers to fill out the frequencies.

Kick and Bass

I had been struggling for a while to get my kick and bass sounding right but this tutorial has helped me sort that. Informative and easy to follow I will definitely be buying more tutorials on the other aspects of making a trance track. Highly recommended.

Really useful information. Gives you

Really useful information. Gives you a much better sense for the bigger picture when making a hard-tech / psy trance track than anything else out there.

Helped clean up my low end

Good, detailed lesson - one of the better bass tutorials I've watched and picked up plenty of tips to help the bass poke through the mix and remove excess mud. Recommended.
