You're never too old to learn anything new!

I bought this tutorial together with the "Progressive Trance Kick & Bass Tutorial" as a way of learning some new stuff when putting together your kick and bass. Not that is has been a struggle with my own productions, but there are 'tricks of the trade' that I've not grown accustomed to (yet) and was keen to learn about.

Seeing as Mr. Morrow (sorry, Allan :) is a well established producer and well known for his awesome tutorials, I gave it a try and was very impressed with the hard work he has put into this and all other production tutorials. The fact that it's never planned, makes it enjoyable to watch and gives you great insight in how you overcome little tidbits you might come across when putting your track(s) together.

So thank you for sharing your techniques with all of us. I know this will help all the aspiring or (fairly) established producers out there. I'll be back...!

Thinking Outside The Box – Episode 003 (Trance Bass Line Special) Logic Pro X Template

This template is a masterclass in bass production! A fantastic opportunity to see how a high-end producer manages the low-end frequencies!

See how he uses standard Logic Pro X effects such as Overdrive, Phaser, Flanger, Echo and Space Designer as well as dynamics and frequency plug-ins such as LFOTool, Sample Delay, Gain, Channel EQ and Adaptive Limiter.

Aimed at trance producers, but the techniques are easily transferrable to all dance music genres where a big bottom end is essential.
