Trance Leads
Welcome, fellow Trance Producers! In this tutorial, ill be showing you a way that you can tighten up your leads.
Like anything in the Trance production world (or any other production world), this may or may not help you in every scenario. It will all depend on the sounds you are using, your mix and other various things.
That being said, this can definitely help when you layer Trance leads and can stop them from getting too messy when competing with your mid-bass in your drop, for example.
When you split them like this, you can also gain more control over the different sections allowing for even more changes to suit your track.
Unlike the quick example in the video, I’d suggest waiting until you have finished making your trance leads, all your elements are in your track and you are in the mixdown stage to check to see if this works for you.
