Yes, all the techniques you will learn in these videos can be implemented into your own DAW.

What software synths or plugins are used in this video?

The tutorial is done using only Logic Pro X plugins, LFO Tool, Sylenth (These synths aren’t needed though for this tutorial. You can use any synth of your choice.)

Trance Melody Writing done right

The beauty of music is that there are basic rules and the rest is up to artist interpretation and that is what this course really brought home for me. Writing Better Melodies Much Quicker

I used to rely on midi packs to get my melodies because writing an arp melody seemed like too giant of a task to complete. It would get me so frustrated and take me out of my rhythm constantly. Now, I can consistently put together a solid melody within 30-40 minutes. It is now one of my favorite parts of my projects. Allan teaches you how to add variety throughout the melody to keep it interesting and how simple a 16 bar trance melody really is. It's a lot simpler than it looks on the piano roll! Thanks Allan!
