The Pain Inside – In-depth Track Walkthrough

(Released on Vandit Records – supported heavily by Paul van Dyk)

What is it about certain tracks that grab the attention of the biggest names in the scene?

In this walkthrough, I take you inside the full project of my track “The Pain Inside”  a track that got signed to Vandit Records and found its way into nearly every one of Paul van Dyk’s sets at major festivals & clubs around the world.

With how disposable music can feel nowadays, it’s been pretty special to see this track continue to earn a place in his sets, especially considering how much music he must get sent every week.

Throughout the walkthrough, I’ll highlight the creative decisions that helped shape the track — from the sound design and transitions to the atmosphere and movement that give it its energy and the catchy melody.

Whether you’re trying to figure out what your own productions might be missing, or you just want to see inside a finished, label-signed track that’s done the rounds on some of the biggest stages, this walkthrough gives you a genuine, behind-the-scenes in-depth look at how it all came together.

Detailed As Always !
Love how detailed Allan is with his tutorials. The Pain Inside is such a great track and the way he breaks it down is so good. As a beginner producer you sometimes wonder how some tracks are made so I JUST had to get this one. Even though i am on ableton i wanted to see the thought process behind the track and he explains it very well. Currently halfway but im loving it so far.

Amazing!
This is a brilliant run through of one of Allans most successful recent tracks. Unlike other walkthroughs he goes through every channel and gives a super in depth explanation of how and why he used the sounds in the track and more importantly the reasons and thinking behind it all. I loved going through this and I'll be going back to this one quite a bit as there is loads to take from it. This shows quality over quantity always wins! How many tutors have legends playing their tracks continuously

Not your typical walk-through
I thought this would just be a quick walkthrough, but Allan really took the time to cover absolutely everything! It was amazing to see his thought process, all the ideas, and the little sounds that make this track so special. I can totally see why Paul van Dyk keeps playing it. Thanks for the incredible insight, well worth the money, and it’s got me thinking about how I can approach my next track with a more simplified mindset!
